About the event
Purpose: To introduce youth to Fundamental Principles of Firearms Safety & Accountability for their ActionsSkill Level: Beginner/New to FirearmsPrerequisites: A responsible parent/guardian must accompany the youth.
Objective: Teach students the basic KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ATTITUDE necessary for the safe handling of firearms. Gives the youth (and his/her caregiver) an initial positive experience regarding the shooting fundamentals & the universal firearms safety rules.
Teach decision-making, teamwork, self-discipline, self-confidence, and problem-solving
Emphasis placed on exercising patience & understanding
Encourages positive relationships with peers, their counterparts and adults
Promote the highest standards of safety, sportsmanship, and ethical behavior
